How to review email and Agent requests

Use Inbox to review incoming email and Agent proposals while keeping reading, changes, and sharing as separate decisions.

  1. Choose the queue

Inbox shows Agent Requests, Inbound Emails and Phone Calls. Needs review excludes resolved items; Archive keeps approved items for 30 days and Trash keeps rejected requests and removed files for 7 days. Save email and call files to Drive to keep them under its retention policy.

  2. Inspect the source and change

Read the message or proposal and check what decision it requests. Opening an item does not approve it.

  3. Decide narrowly

Release email, approve or reject a proposed change, or leave it pending. A Page visibility change requires its own exact approval.

Check the result

Review the result in your own account. A successful connection or copied prompt does not mean the requested action has completed.

What to know before you start

A general Agent review decision may be advisory: it is not a blanket authorization for tools or external services. Each operation still enforces its own scopes and approval contract.

Common questions

Does releasing email approve an action?

No. It lets an authorized Agent read permitted content, which remains untrusted.

Where are sender rules?

Settings → Inbox Rules. Unknown senders ask by default; add a rule when you want a different behavior.
