CURSOR

Claw Me for Cursor

Cursor uses the vendor-neutral skill package with Claw Me’s hosted Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint. The public repository remains guidance and configuration only.

PERMISSIONS

Let the owner approve the connection

Claw Me uses its own review screen. The client can ask for access, but it cannot approve itself or quietly add permissions.

  1. 01

Add the hosted MCP endpoint in Cursor, then ask the Agent to connect for one specific workflow.

  2. 02

Finish owner verification from the Claw Me email and inspect the requested permissions before approval.

  3. 03

Keep the resulting sign-in details in Cursor’s secret or MCP storage, never in the repository.

VERIFY

Prove the boundary before real work

A clean connection is not enough. Verify discovery, read-only access, and an approval-required action before relying on the setup.

  1. 01

Confirm Cursor loads the global claw-me skill and lists the Claw Me MCP server.

  2. 02

Verify enabled features with account_get_permissions. Call wiki_get_agent_guide only when Profile context is enabled and the credential includes wiki:read.

  3. 03

Verify a private Page remains private and a Wiki proposal remains pending until owner review.

Put your connection to work

Start with a file, a Page, or an approved project brief.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common connection issues

Cursor sees the skill but not the tools.

The skill and MCP connection are separate in Cursor. Add https://claw.me/api/v1/mcp as a Streamable HTTP MCP server.

Cursor asks for a token in a project file.

Cancel that flow. Use Cursor’s MCP authentication or secret storage so credentials are never committed.
